Hello and Seasons Greetings, everyone!
As 2010 is coming to an end and the VCinema podcast closes in on its first anniversary, I wanted to announce that we are now officially relaunching its blog counterpart which is, of course, located at this very location, http://www.vcinemashow.com/. I’m sure you’re already aware of the VCinema blog since we have already been posting articles and reviews over the last few months, but we have slowly made a number of changes and additions to the site including:
I want to thank podcast co-host Josh for taking on the heavier work involved in the overall improvement of the blog. That there was very little downtime in the process is a testament to his speedy and efficient work on the site. Even though we have tested all of the new additions to the site, we fully understand that every visitor will have a slightly different experience, so if something doesn’t look right or function properly, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com and we will look into the issue.
So, what are our plans for this blog in the future? Of course, we will still deliver thorough and insightful reviews and articles of films from the Asian region. We also have a number of regular and semi-regular feature articles planned in the new year. However, we are also planning to expand our coverage into different areas beyond film and into culture and other aspects of Asian society. Because of this, if you are interested in joining the VCinema team as a contributor (e.g. as a writer, correspondent, artist, musician, photographer, etc.), please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a small sample of your talent/skill and we’ll be happy to talk with you. Even if you just want to be a one-time or semi-regular contributor, feel free to get in touch with us.
We look forward to bringing you more coverage in 2011 and hope you enjoy the new VCinema blog!
