VCinema Podcast First Anniversary Contest, Round Two!

This contest is finished!

So you say that you missed out on entering our first anniversary contest.  Bummer!

Well, you get one more chance at an entry and here’s what you have to do:  to help us get the word out about VCinema to other film lovers, write a review of our podcast on  iTunes.  Here’s how to do that:

  • Go to the iTunes Store in iTunes and search for “vcinema podcast” then click on our logo to access our page.
  • On our page, scroll down below our list of episodes, and click on the “write a review” link.  The rest is self-explanatory.

Easy, right?  The review does not need to be funny or include ass-kissery, just give us an honest review.  Once you’ve finished leaving your review, email us at vcinema@variedcelluloid.net and let us know the content of your review and your iTunes handle. Non-US  iTunes users will need to send us a screenshot of their reviews.  The deadline for this contest is midnight PST on Saturday, January 29th.

Anyone can enter this round of the contest! In fact, if you have already entered the first round of the contest, you can enter this round as well for an additional chance to win the contest prize.

And, oh yeah, what is that prize? Well, during episode 22, our first anniversary episode, we will discuss Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s “Apocalypse Trilogy”, so to go along with that, the prize package will include:

  • A copy of The Films of Kiyoshi Kurosawa: Master of Fear by Jerry White and published by Stone Bridge Press.
  • A region 1 standard DVD copy of Tokyo Sonata (2008), Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s latest film.

The winner of this prize will be chosen during episode 22 from all of the entries from both rounds of the contest. Good luck!

Yay!I just saw the announcement yesterday about the first contest (I’m a few episodes behind on the podcast) and realized I missed the deadline, which annoyed me because I TOTALLY knew the answer! Also, I love that VCinema, my blog, AND me are all Aquarius. Random facts that made my day.
