VCinema Interviewed by the San Francisco Film Society

Just in time for the first anniversary of the podcast (more on that later), we got a nice surprise: VCinema is featured this week in sf360.org, the website of the San Francisco Film Society.  As you may already know, VCinema is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I reside, and the SFFS was kind enough to track me down for an interview about VCinema and the use of social media (in our case, podcasts) in film.  The interview is edited a bit, about a half hour of it was cut out (due to space constraints, no doubt), but it gives a clear look at the past, present, and future of VCinema as a podcast.

I’m pretty sure that I speak for all of the podcast hosts when I say that getting together to discuss film on the podcast is a joy in itself.  Sure, things like scheduling, editing, hunting down guests, and sourcing unscratched copies of films can be work, but all the more the reason that even a little praise is both rewarding and appreciated.
