Third Window Hosts UK Premiere Of Underwater Love, DVD Release To Follow

Here’s one that we’ve been wholeheartedly recommending sight unseen: a pink film directed by the the acclaimed Shinji Imaoka, 2004 winner of the Best Director prize at the Pink Grand Prix (the pink industry’s Academy Awards), shot by Christopher Doyle (Chungking Express), with a Euro-hipster soundtrack by German/French duo Stereo Total, and a script once drafted by Midnight Eye co-founder Tom Mes.  Talk about international, talk about all-star, and the talk at the festivals is that Underwater Love is indeed a one-of-a-kind experience.

Our friends at Third Window Films have acquired the film and is hosting its UK premiere at the Rich Mix in London on October 16th.  In addition to the film, audiences will be treated to a performance by Stereo Total.

Tickets are  £15 and available here.  A limited number of Stereo Total performance-only tickets are available for £10 here.  RSVP on Facebook and make all your friends jealous here.

The UK DVD release of Underwater Love is scheduled for November 21st.  For more information, check out Third Window Films’ site.
