Shock Labyrinth 3D BD/DVD Out In May

J-Horrormeister Takashi Shimizu’s (Ju-On and The Grudge series) 2009 film Shock Labyrinth 3D is going to be available as a region 1 Blu-Ray/DVD combo on May 8th through Well Go USA.

Well Go describes the film as follows:

Ten years ago, Yuki disappeared at the amusement park haunted house. One rainy night she suddenly returns, and faints in front of her shocked friends. Her friends rush her to the hospital, but what awaits them is an endless labyrinth of unspeakable horrors.

If you couldn’t tell by that synopsis, it seems that Shimizu is carrying along with his J-Horror ways.  Shock Labyrinth 3D stars Yuya Yagira (Nobody Knows), Ai Maeda (The Sword of Alexander), Misako Renbutsu (Ikechan to Boku) and Ryo Katsuji (The Shonen Merikensack) and was Japan’s first full-length, live-action digital 3D feature in the modern era.  The bonus materials on this combo pack include the making-of featurette “Behind-the-Scenes of Shock Labyrinth” and interviews with the filmmakers.
