An Important Announcement About Our First Anniversary Podcast

Come on out, Jimbo!  This is not bad news, it’s actually the opposite!

Fans of VCinema may recall that we made a promise to review Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s “Apocalypse” trilogy (1997’s Cure, 1999’s Charisma, and 2001’s Pulse) as part of our first anniversary episode.  We still are, but we came to the realization that three thorough discussions within the average time frame of one of our episodes was just too ambitious, not to mention foolhardy.  So, what we are doing is spreading the entire trilogy out to three individual episodes (22, 23, and 24) which will be released in accordance with our usual biweekly release schedule – January 31st, February 14th, and February 28th, respectively.  This means that we will be celebrating our first anniversary for a month and a half!  Yowza!

To those who entered our first anniversary contest, fear not, we will still draw the winner of the prize during episode 22.  To those who haven’t, you might want to there’s still plenty of time to enter to win the Kiyoshi Kurosawa book and DVD prize package we are offering.  And, speaking of contests, we will be having random giveaways on our Twitter and Facebook pages during our month and a half celebration, so if you haven’t already joined us at those two places, now is the time to do so!

Thanks for celebrating our first anniversary with us and, as always, thanks for listening!
