About Jon Jung

Jon Jung (aka “Coffin Jon”) is the producer and host of the VCinema podcast and editor-in-chief of the VCinema blog. He contributed several essays to World Film Locations: Tokyo (Intellect, 2011). Jon lives in San Francisco, but wishes he was back in Japan where he lived for seven years.

A Winner Is You?

No, we’re not receiving any bonus points for twenty five year old memes.  In fact, we’re not receiving anything; we’re giving stuff away!  Last week, we ran a contest for a pair of tickets each to see New York Asian Film Festival screenings of Osamu Tezuka’s Buddha and Riki Oh: The Story of Ricky.  Well, I’m happy to announce that we have our winners!  Merry is the winner of the Buddha tickets and Rachel is the winner of the ones for Riki-Oh (surnames withheld because everyone would want to be their friends).  So, congratulations you two; we hope you enjoy yourselves.  To the rest of you, sorry that you’ll have to work and earn money for your tickets, but remember to come back and visit VCinema for all of the great New York Asian Film Festival and Japan Cuts coverage we have planned in addition to our regular Asian film podcasts, reviews, and articles.
